Peter Pan – it’s time to wake the child inside you!

Peter-Pan-Wallpaper-disney-6583578-1024-768Remember when everything was simple and easy? When, if something went wrong, your parents were there to support you and help you? If you remember, that means your childhood years are behind you. But who said they’re over?

It’s time to wake the child inside you and Glasgow Film Festival gives you the opportunity to do so! Today, 23 February at 2pm, you can enjoy one of Disney’s most magical and adventurous animations – Peter Pan. This adaptation of J. M. Barrie’s book was released in 1953 and is the 14th film in the Walt Disney Animated Classic Series.

I’m sure you all know the story, but let me try and refresh your memories – while searching for his shadow, Peter Pan, the boy who will never grow up, meets Wendy and whisks her and her younger brothers to a magical place full of adventures and wonders. But Captain Cook, an evil pirate, longs to catch Peter Pan and his friends, the Lost Boys. Will he succeed? If you want to find out, stop chasing your shadow and come enjoy the Disney magic! Walt-Disney-Screencaps-Peter-Pan-walt-disney-characters-32791975-4335-3240

Oh, and one more thing: don’t put the child inside you to sleep without a story good night. And don’t forget to wake your Peter Pan now and then. After all, childhood is the greatest part of one’s life. Or at least the most carefree.
