Cineworld – the best in the world

image_1364850904266903  Cineworld, located on Renfrew Street, is the tallest cinema in the world with its 62m height. And even though I pass by it every day on my way to Caledonian, it never seize to amaze me and I always have a minute to look up.

It is truth what they say, numbers speak for themselves. Opened in 2001, with its 203 feet height and 4,300 seats capacity, Cineworld attracts with its beautiful architecture and lovely atmosphere. I, myself, have enjoyed a film night here many times, and every time feels like the first.

Here is a quick peak at what Cineworld is offering you this week:

The Croods – a prehistoric comedy from the makers of “How to train your dragon”

GI Joe: Retaliation – amazing science fiction action adventure starring Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson

Trance – psychological drama starring Glasgow actor James McAvoy, Vincent Cassel and Rosario Dawsen

Jack the Giant Slayer – innovative remake of an old tale

The Host – science fiction love story, based on Stephanie Mayer’s best-selling novel

The holidays are almost over, but who said the fun should be? Enjoy a film adventure with your family, or even by yourself. Cineworld always knows how to keep a good company.
